    Finally got a letter today back from the Border Force confirming a full refund on import duties & VAT owed. Minus the £12 paid to Royal Mail for them to process the original import duties & VAT, and the cost of a stamp to send the claim in. Overall a successful outcome. An additional £12 down is still a great saving on the Black Friday deals! For anyone else who has this issue, send the requested items on this form to the address listed.

    Thanks, I have found the form from customs (BOR286) that will let me dispute this. I'll post it off tomorrow. Because it's pen and paper only, I suspect it may be a few weeks before I hear anything back. I've paid the fee and collected the parcel, lest they send it back. I will update this thread if I hear back; and contact LTT Support if border force aren't interested!

    Received my LTT Black Friday order today in the UK. Purchase total of $169.92. (Plus $34.00 of tax) However it has been declared incorrectly as $230.4172, incurring VAT & passing the threshold import duty, alongside £12 for the couriers trouble. Which angle do you think I’m best taking here? I can either try and claim back the money from customs, but I’m worried they’ll only care about what LTT declared on the CN23 or will LTT refund this?

    I noticed that Linus seems to be getting poor WiFi performance, I can pull 450 Mbit/s on the S6 Edge in our house. Is this something new to the S7? Or is it just a poor WiFi network?

    The FX-6300 is more than enough for your 750ti. It is not a bottleneck until you get up to 290s or 970's.

    What are the differences between these two? I'm trying to find ECC unregistered memory and I haven't come across the term unbuffered before.

    That's also not a valid public IP, it's registered to the UK ministry of defence. Unless you are inside the MOD, in which case I don't imagine they'll want you port forwarding..

    Yeah, you need to give them your WAN IP, not your LAN IP, you can get this by going to whatsmyip.org Make sure you port forward port 25565 in your router.

    From someone who didn't think an SSD would make that much of a difference, you will thank us later for suggesting an SSD, it makes the entire system so much better.

    Everything seems good minus the GPU, you can get an R9-290 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202080&cm_re=R9-290-_-14-202-080-_-Product for the same price. The R9-290 will bend a GTX 760 over backwards in anything.
