  1. That's a pretty good price on the S3 Neo, but it's just that TouchWiz is so bloated and slow, LG UI is a lot smoother, and on top of less pixels to power, results in a noticeably smoother experience and faster phone. It's really about ppi vs performance at this point, so if you don't mind the lower pixel density, then go for the G2 Mini.
  2. Come on dude, just because I said stop doing one-word answers, doesn't mean you shouldn't read the thread before jumping to be the first post.
  3. This should help ya http://tech.saoslab.com/post/2013/03/18/cleanup-corrupt-partition-table
  4. What carrier(s) are you using or planning to use? I could take a look and see what they have that's interesting for the price.
  5. Well I can definitely tell something's wrong, because I have the same SSD as you, and mine gets about 400 read and 300 write in Windows 8.1
  6. Looks good to me, if you can stretch to an R7 265 I'd recommend doing so.
  7. Not counting other things like PSU and GPU fans?
  8. If it works it works. Things like speed and timings are automatically adjusted by modern mobos to work optimally.
  9. If you're editing the files straight from the drive, don't get WD green. Access times will be very slow.
  10. I'd recommend at least a single 290 for triple 1080p if you want acceptable frame rates with settings turned up. If medium settings is okay then R9 280
  11. And tbh I wouldn't expect either of those builds to last. Biostar motherboards are mediocre at best.
  12. Honestly I wouldn't get either of them but rather something with a 970M. Laptop GPUs are always in concern regarding power and heat, and the Maxwell GPU chips will do a lot to help.
  13. I'd say S3 Neo between the two, since qHD (960x540) is quite lacking in pixel density at 4.7 inches. Like people above said though, the Moto G would be a better option then either of them and is likely cheaper.
  14. Just make it as high as Afterburner will let you. The power limit slider is designed to stay within safe limits so crank it up all the way. It's manual voltage control you want to be careful with.
  15. Oh yeah. The Hawaii GPU chips were designed to handle constant 95 degress without any issues. 85 is perfectly fine.
  16. Yes, that cooler is compatible with AM3 (and therefore AM3+) socket boards.
  17. There likely won't be any 64-bit only apps for a looong time. They will be all 64-bit "optimized" apps for a while, so they are still backwards compatible with 32-bit devices.

Was planning of getting a Surface Pro 2, but ga…

I get around 1.5 to 2 hours battery life with mine when playing games so not complaining
  19. If you don't mind mATX http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-gah81mh

I have a Lenovo with a Trinity A8. The performance of it is perfectly fine for me, but I don't like carrying a 6lb 15.6" laptop to school.

I need something that I can carry around for 7 hours a day (school), and still have decent gaming performance for when I have nothing to do in class or take it to a friends. My current laptop is just so bulky and heavy.
  22. Nope, you'll have no problem running a 290 with that GPU. However I'd save some money and grab an H81 mobo
