Well, on the lower end laptops, they already do. Considering that even the igpu on the skylake processors is roughly on par with the low end mobile GPUs like the 920m and 930m... And these GPUs (the iris and iris pro class) outperform then by a stretch (though not necessarily budget) I don't know if they are able to catch dGPUs anytime soon or ever but they are getting good. AMD is getting spanked in the APU market... Though their APUs cost a lot less.

That 5k 27 inch seems to be my kind of display. Seriously, 4K at 27 inch looks awesome (pixel density ftw) I can't imagine 5K... Seriously considering getting a second 980ti and going 4k now...

The simple factbof the matter is that uber is acting on a legal void in many countries in the EU. The UK court of law took a look at uber contracts and ruled that according to UK law, it is not commission work or any other kind of self employment. The contracts are binding enough that they need to be recognized as employement contracts. No politics, just law. If Uber wants to operate, it has to obey the law. Simple. To be honest, I would be happy to see uber go. Their schemes against workers rights are dodgy to say the least. BTW, what made America a world superpower was (besides intact infrastructure after 2 world wars that decimated the traditional powers) the strong middle-class full of worker's rights and a decent standard of living (a working man in the 50s had more income than a working couple today). Well, since I was eyeballing the texture quality,I believe you. Some textures are subpar though. Maybe 1K over a large area. Hence at 1440p and 4K you get not so nice looking results. I can visually see the blurriness. Or could since I haven't played Bf 1 since xenoverse 2 and Armoured Warfare Global Operations came out...

There are some in MP too. Look for wooden structures. It might be an error in some textures being loaded since when bullets hit, the impact model is higher red than the textures. The game looks gorgeous thanks to the best lighting engine around and some excellent post processing effects but the textures sometimes look off.

I play BF1 at 1440p and there are some textures (wood textures in 3rd mission of friends in high places for instance) that are clearly subpar. Not all, but some. I can kind of blot it out but once you get close to them, you see how blurry they are. Now, the game does not look bad, but some of the textures are 720p.

Hmmmm. My biggest change would be to add a proper ww1 mode with most players having bolt action rifles. Maybe a couple of light machine guns in the mix. Oh, and no xray vision or icons above the head. Also, cap max damage on body to 90. That would end sniper spam. My favourite weapon is the smle III (bloody gorgeous) and I feel dirty using it. Having great fun playing as support though. Redo air combat. In many ways. For one, bombers are too hard to take down. They can outfight fighters. Also, more complex flight dynamics would be good. I cannot immerse myself in the air. Make crew inside tanks vulnerable to AP shots but reduce anti tank capabilities all around. Bit tricky but I would defiantly go this way. Not that I find current tanks OP. Its just a different balance. What I would like to see is crew being vulnerable to gas attacks and smk bullets. As they were IRL. Oh, and removing the xray vision. I don't use it and nobody should.

I think this is a good product. I have a friend in mind who would love something like this for her work (she is an architect). The fact that you can do everything on one screen is amazing and it was probably not cheap to create such a high quality +4k display with touch with a high response time which is essential to drawing on it. Kudos to ms. I see loads of people in conferences using surface books and surface pros. And they all swear by them. I am tempted to get one myself (geomatics engineer). If they allowed for nvidia 3D vision that would be awesome.

I think its because the premium market is saturated and they can't sell another iPhone because everyone has one already. Also, the iPhone 5 and 6 already run all the APS without an itch so why would you spend another 1000 bucks upgrading yet again? Seriously, this expectation of permanent growth needs to stop.

Its not because they can. Its because they charge in dollars and convert it to pounds. They are getting the same (maybe a bit more for added security since the UK has lost AAA credit rating) for costumers. Because the UK economy tanked post brexit, you get shafted. That is actually very true and very well put. Basically, you get what you pay for. I run a lenovo W510 as my work laptop and in 9 years I had to change hard drive twice... It still runs, it still does everything I want work related. It was expensive when new. I can even take it out to the field and it performs without missing a beat (or a bit as the case may be XD).

Actually, most games on dx12 include a loss of fps for nvidia cards with and cards gaining Fps. Second of all, he explained in his post that he is talking about gcn as a whole and not just polaris, and that the 480 still has compute schedulers in it. Thirdly, the difference between the 480 and the 1060 is tit for tat in their preferred APIs and you will get served well regardless. AMD has a history of providing longer support, Nvidia has a history of having the best overclocks which makes a big difference. So why don't we all chill and eat some member berries?

Whichever you choose, it will work very well. They are so close together, go for the one you like the most. I would say an XFX 480 GTR... That thing is awesome and puts all other 480s to shame. Plus, with the 8GB model you get gddrx vram.

I know... Even the 2500k like yours holds amazing value. Like, building a budget build for a friend, I ended up going skylake i3 instead of 2500k because of the value proposition. Crazy right? Any possibility of CPU over clock? Those things oc like crazy and they are barely slower than a SkyLake frequency to frequency. Your RAM speed might matter too. If you install faster ram you might alleviate the bottleneck. Check out some fast ddr3 ram. Something like 2133 MHz if your mono allows it.
