Im getting tired of EA's monopoly in the console game industry. They produce so many games with potential but fail at bringing them to life!!! Take Fifa 15. Great game for the first 2 weeks, until their servers slowed down and started to kick people offline mid-game. Oh, but they cant fix their servers, because they also have to get rid of coin-buyers. Speaking of coin buyers, their new price-range update? Trash. Instead of spending a small chunk of their time banning the coin-selling accounts or hiding club names on the transfer market, they completely screw up the market for everyone. Great play. My club used to be worth 600k, now if I sold everyone for their MAX buy now, I would only have 480k... Oh my. EA, please fire the smart-ass who pitched this idea. Sorry for that rant... Does anyone else play Fifa? Share your feelings on this update.

Welcome to the forum! Best way to over clock is to get Msi Afterburner from their website and watch a few youtube videos on how to safely OC your card.

This really seems like an awsome way to earn some extra cash while asleep, but does it make a noticable difference in GPU lifespan? I have a Sapphire r9 280x Tri-X that I just got and really want to mine with it, but if it greatly damages the lifespan then it seems kind of counter-intuitive to mine like $80 but then have to buy a new 280x for $250.... Does anybody here have any experience with a card crapping out due to GPU mining? thanks

if you want to spend a bit of cash dolla, i'd suggest dual 970s, or if thats not your thing a single 970

r9 280+ cards are old and really good performance per dollar, compared to nvidia they are really cheap. gtx 960 runs more stable with lower temps and volume so many people opt for that card

I love that card - it would be a shame if something happened to it... anyways have you switched from onboard graphics to your 280? I had that issue with running games with DX 11 - go to device manager and enable the card can you post in the thread the error code because i may have seen this before

Try searching YouTube for how to install graphics cards. I think Newegg.com's channel has a pretty straightforward video. PS. When you install the card, you should hear a click for when that tab is actually locked and has the GPU secure. Good luck

so its a weight issue? I would think that PCI-E slot and the 1-2 screws holding the card in would be more than enough to hold it still and rigid. that kinda makes sense due to the fact that my 9" card didn't have a backplate but my new 13" card has a backplate interesting.
