Maccat123 got a reaction from franzefx in Need Suggestion for a Personal Gaming Rig
Yeah it's safer to use something supported, tbh ddr4 is just a safer and better bet now anyway, there's been no problems really and it's faster and runs at lower voltage, so I see no reason as to not.
Unsure on mobo, but I assume a mid range Asus h170 will do

Maccat123 got a reaction from Burnedice25 in Skylake vs Haswell
If you want future proofing, the I7 6700K will win, it's the best of the newest for a Desktop, but that's if you can afford it.
Either are great though tbf, just be sure you have ddr4, I made that initial mistake lol.

As long as the ram's DDR4 I can't see why it wouldn't.

Having a SSHD dramatically boosts the start up time of your PC.
However, if you restart/force shutdown the PC, the data required to fast start the computer will not be cached and hence no fast boot is available.
Otherwise in terms of general performance, it performs identical to normal HDD.
