Trafford Devil got a reaction from Tedster in Samsung starts production on SM951 -- world's first M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD
Finally Samsung's releasing what they originally announced an NVMe SM951 M.2 SSD.  As this is an OEM part this will probably only be available through RamCity in Australia though.

Motherboard support could also be an issue, I've got a Maximus VII Impact with a PCIe 3.0 x4 M.2 slot but I'm not sure if it supports NVMe.  Will have to wait to see if ASUS releases a BIOS update.

I really want to get this though, been waiting for NVMe SSD's to come out ever since I read the Anandtech article about it, that low latency paired with my Maximus VII Impact's excellent low DPC latency would make for an excellent Boot/OS drive.

Trafford Devil got a reaction from Majinferno in Oxygen OS released for the OnePlus One (lollipop)
I read that some of the guys from ParanoidAndroid worked on this so it would be cool to see if PIE controls come to OxygenOS.

Trafford Devil got a reaction from d3sl91 in Surface 3 announced, 499$ USD base price, features atom X7 and full windows 8.1 (not RT!)
While I do find it to be expensive given that it is powered by an Atom and doesn't include the keyboard or stylus I probably would've still considered buying this but that 2GB of RAM really puts me off.
$100 more for 4GB RAM and 128GB sounds reasonable but then that comes to $600 without the keyboard. Given at $700 I can buy legit ultrabooks I'm kind of disappointed with the Surface 3.
Hopefully in a couple of months there'll be a sale or some sort of discount then I'll give it another gander.
