  1. I can't remember exactly, I think I might have solved this one. Not sure if I got multiple connections working by putting them in objects though. Do you work with OCPP?
  2. Like @Kilrah said, unless you have a god-tier internet connection, it's not going to be playable. The 3 real options are: 1. Lend the PC to your friend 2. Have your friend come over to your house to play. 3. Run a network cable (most likely needs to be fiber) from your house to your friends house. You need to reserve about 100 grand for this, if it's less than like a few miles
  3. Hmm.. I guess I have to do my own testing then when I get the parts. A decent AIO is almost 2x the price, so I went with the Noctua. Also my HAF X has no native support for a 280mm radiator. From older tests, it seems that the D15 should be as good as at least a 240 AIO, but it would have been nice to confirm this with the 9900k specifically
  4. Has anyone seen any NH-D15 temperature tests with the 9900k? I have found the Hardware Unboxed test, but that's about it.
  5. I guess. Though this board + 10980XE would be cheaper than just a TR 3960X chip with no motherboard. Sure the 3960X would probably be faster but the Intel platform is many hundreds cheaper in this circumstance. But yes I have to consider do I want a dead-end platform
  6. I might be able to get an MSI X299 Gaming Pro board for a very good price. However it seems this board has been discontinued. Would it be worth getting anyway? I was trying to look for a review by Linus or Buildzoid but I didn't find anything
  7. I don't know of stardew valley, but minecraft wasn't/isn't a port. It's a standalone game that they started developing essentially from scratch.
  8. Indeed, knowing the video would help us to help you

Guys with car knowledge I need you. I have an o…

If the underlying issue persists, the light will come back on at some point. Sometimes when I have got an error for a fuel lean or rich condition, it won't come back. It has been likely due to bad fuel or something
  10. I'm trying to find an enclosure capable of driving a real 3.5 inch HDD. Specifically a WD green. I know it's not going to be enough to have it just bus powered, so it would need an external power source which is where I am coming short. Anyone have any experience with doing this?
  11. It's not the car of the future, but it is the car of today. Who knows what we will have in 100 years time
  12. Hi, I'm trying to build a backend system using OCPP 1.6 JSON over websockets in Node. I am having some trouble with the whole websockets thing, I have experience with REST api's but this is throwing me for a loop. Essentially where I am at is that I receive a message from the charger like this: [2, "19223201", "BootNotification", {"chargePointVendor": "VendorX", "chargePointModel": "SingleSocketCharger"} ] I need to put this in a database which I can probably figure out myself, but more importantly I need to de-construct the message and generate an appropriate response. In this case it would look something like this: [3, "19223201", {"status":"Accepted", "currentTime":"2013-02-01T20:53:32.486Z", "heartbeatInterval":300} ] And I have no idea how to do it. Essentially I need a lot of if statements like if the massage has "BootNotification" in it, then send the accept message and if it has something else, then respond appropriately. If someone can help, I'll buy you a beer or coffee or beverage of your choosing? Edit: the documentation for the OCPP protocol is available here: https://www.openchargealliance.org/downloads/
  13. I don't think it's a fan bearing. I takes time for the temps to rise and fans to spin up. Won't hurt to try though, you didn't mention what card you have but the fans should just pop off.
  14. Here's a benchmark with a GTX 1080. As you can see, overclocking gave better results and you might be able to get 144 fps with a 1080ti. The problem is that with the B360 chipset you can't really overclock. In short, it might bottleneck sometimes and to minimise it you would need a motherboard with a Z370 chipset.
  15. CPU-Z looks OK to me. I only have experience with 32nm chips where 1.3 volts is acceptable. If you are happy with what you have, I'd say you're golden
  16. Thanks. Won't be doing a lot of that locally I could basically get 32gb of CL16 or 16gb of CL14 for the same price. And if it won't make much of a difference, I'll go with CL16
  17. Does someone know will CL14 vs CL16 make a substantial difference? A 16GB 3200MHz CL16 kit is 150 euro, and the same but with CL14 timings is about 220 to 250 euros. Is it worth the massive price difference? Or should I go to a lower frequency with tighter timings?
  18. FYI, imperial measurements like yards and lbs are based on the metric system The United States and countries of the Commonwealth of Nations agreed upon common definitions for the pound and the yard. Since 1 July 1959, the international avoirdupois pound (symbol lb) has been defined as exactly 0.45359237 kg
  19. That's hard to answer since I don't know what your local electronics store has. Generic cables are fine, but if they feel too cheap then get something better. Usually cheap cables will have a plastic insulator and higher end ones will have rubber/silicone or even braided.
  20. Yeah something on the motherboad is probably dead. Every android phone of mine has done this. Even my current one ?
