Bethesda announces the release dates for FallOut 4's DLC program
decer304 replied to Master Disaster's topic in Tech News
Im really looking forward to what Bethesda brings to FO4. However, i do question the value of the "wasteland workshop" dlc specifically on PC. The stuff it advertises to add, like capturing creature and making them fight each other, isnt that kinda redundant and reduces the value of that DLC because of console commands (hence my quesitoning of the pc version of the DLC)? -
This is what i have at the moment. It is currently Australia's highest end offering (cable internet) for the mainstream, its kinda pathetic when you compare it to the rest of you guys. What annoys me is that Liberals new plan of FTTN provides a 10th of the speed of full FTTP at a third of the cost. Its a pathetic cost saving measure that will cost us more in the long run. If Linus saw this proposition and he was the leader, he would have this low end video card rant all over again. The cost savings does not justify the performance. On the bright side, i start uni this year.... Cant wait for the ridiculous Uni internet speeds.

Such a sexy car The W just refers to the arrangement "shape" of the pistons. I would guess that this car's engine would just be a side by side arrangement of 2 V8 series of pistons, this forming a VV shape, hence the W letter.

To be fair, my phone doesnt really have that much stuff on it, so usually pattern is fine. But after i got my S6, i use fingerprint, which is fast and safe. I dont think fingerprint should be affected by this exploit, unless it also impacts the backup passwords

There is a reason on why the victorian government keeps an old os. I went to visit the Victorian Bureau of Meteorology which is also home to the bushfire commission, and i saw them even running machines, that were up to date hardware wise, but were running windows 95. They were asked by many people on why, and the answer is simple. It works now, and by upgrading, they are risking software glitches, and at the time, when bushfires were at a high risk, were not an option. Even in downtime, a glitch in software can takes months to fix, and that may be too late, and could cost lives.

AMD really need to clean up their lineups. too many rebrands and mixing of old technology. Im not sure if this was the case with the 7000 series and earlier, but they need to maintain the same tech and archtechure in each generation for atleast their mid to highend cards, like Nvidia's generations, when 600 series is all Kepler, and 900 series all Maxwell

Valve allowing refunds for 14 days after purchase. (EU, UK, AU)
decer304 replied to Master Disaster's topic in Tech News
While it is true that its not a true refund, but realistically, at least for me, im gonna spend money on steam anyway for other games, so it would save me from adding any more money into the ecosystem. Edit: I think the title is a little misleading as in the article it only mentions that NZ users get to refund. It never said anything about AUS users. -
