OK, I know it's been a while since any updates have been posted in this thread, but I finally ordered my laptop.

I'll also be buying 2 512GB Samsung 950 Pro M.2 SSD's and 2 Samsung Spinpoint 2TB M9T SATAIII hard drives for storage and and external blu-ray writer.

Oh dude, for sure. Looking forward to KI. Played the SNES version a bunch and I don't have an XBone, so the PC version is the thing to get for me.

yes but not sure how it would handle multiple inputs, and I dont know a way of interfacing an analog mixer with a PC without an interface, or some sort of advanced soundcard or external interface
there might be but I only know by using a USB interface, or usb mixer, so without those I dunno how to help ><
 
if you bought it on amazon (recently) just return it, I return stuff on amazon all the time, recently bought like 3 different items just to compare and sent 2 back

Opened like 50 total cases with keys I got trading up. Best I ever unboxed was a ST AK-47 Aquamarine Revenge WW, worth around $80.00 market price.

You can fit up to a Corsair H110, but their H100(i) will fit more easily.
I would reccommend a Swiftech H240-X, however. Very high quality and looks beautiful/

It fits the Maximus Impact VII and VI without problem.  I just put together an Impact VII system.

Their demo board is either the Z87I-Pro or Z87I-Deluxe, and both have daughterboards for the power delivery.  I do believe they share the same layout as both the Maximus VI Impact and Maximus VII Impact (meaning power delivery daughterboard, RAM slots, and PCIe slot placement).

The C1 has 42mm of clearance above the ram socket, which is about 5mm from the PCB
 
As the daughter board starts from the PCB, and most places I can find say the daughter board is about 40mm high, it should fit underneath the cooler

Very nice, my i5 750 system lasted a very long time with a 580. This particular system (G3258 / GTX 470) is for a client's younger brother. The 470 I have is Gigabyte's offering of the reference design.

GTX 750 Ti would prolly be what I would choose instead.

I have the STRIX and it's damn awesome. Upgraded from a 4 year old 6870.

my friend's GPU just died. he's a light light PC gamer and has mostly just used hand me downs from his older brother

OP, The 250D is a solid, high quality case, as is the Node 304. I personally am not a fan of the Node's design or layout, so I would have to suggest the 250D.

Go with a Corsair Obsidian 250D.

The ISK600 is a pretty case, but it suffers the same issue as the Node 304 does with front to back airflow and PSU compatibility. The PSU is too long for the ISK600, and the airflow is bound to be lackluster to the point where you would want to spend the extra 20.00 and get the 250D.
