  1. Jeez that sounds bad. Where does the 2100$ go anyway lol Well my second choice is an ASUS ZenBook Pro UX550. It ticks all boxes except for the fact it has a 1050Ti, it is 400$ cheaper though. Do you think a 1050Ti is a good GPU? The Zenbook also has a TB3 port so maybe I can use an eGPU in the future when the GPU starts losing its steam. I would like to use this laptop for around 4-5 years
  2. What's up! I plan on buying a Razer Blade 14, probably from the MS store because of its blend of dimensions, weight and performance. I've heard amazing things about it as well as terrible things about it (specifically in the realm of QC and support). I wanted to know if anyone here owns an RB14 and could share their experiences with it. How's your battery life? Any major issues picked up along way? I think Linus uses a Blade as his daily too if I'm not mistaken. Shoot your thoughts on your Razer Blade at me! I'm really leaning towards this computer so yeah, I just need a push or pull off the edge money cliff that is the razer blade 14. Thanks!
  3. True. The major power hog comes from the display. I'd assume the touch sensing itself uses slightly more power than a trackpad
  4. I'm interested in picking up an XPS 15 with the 4K display because the microsoft store is selling it for the same price as the FHD version over at the dell store. I personally won't be using the touch screen so would disabling it in the BIOS potentially help battery life? I mean it has a 97Wh battery already but still. I could use the extra battery life. Thanks!
  5. Thermal throttling is something I forgot about! damn. Looks like I'll keep looking around for a bit Would buying a laptop cooler help? Also the inspiron seems too thick. But the y700 looks pretty decent in all aspects except battery and weight. I'll further investigate perhaps.
  6. The weight says 5lbs. Does newegg's weight spec show the weight of the laptop or the laptop box and the included stuff? Sorry for the dumb question lol I'm particular about weight since I'll be taking it to school sometimes. And I have to carry heavy textbooks alongside with it. So size and weight affect my decision
  7. Hey everyone! My current HP craptop is super bulky and I was thinking of upgrading to the GTX960M and i7 6500U model of the ASUS K501UW. It's light and comes with a dGPU which fit my needs. I'm planning on getting the one on newegg for ~800$ rn. It looks like it's worth the price since it comes with an SSD boot drive. Now when it comes to gaming. I plan on playing CS:GO, TF2, and maybe some intensive games down the road. I've heard about the GTX 960M being equal to or greater than a 750Ti. Will I be able to play games at 900p medium? Games like Deus ex mankind divided levels of intensive? I probably won't though. But yeah. Mostly CSGO,TF2,maybe some games like GTA 4, perhaps. I also might do video editing on it. Will the i7 6500u be good or capable of doing so? Thanks a lot everyone!
  8. Red leds always make PCs work faster. Help your friend out by gifting him some LEDs? don't think he can replace LEDs unless he buys his own or gets one of those chroma ones. (and of course the LEDs should be somewhat easy to install.)
  9. Some games have compatibility issues or they don't even run on x360. The XB1 cannot run original xbox games. Example: Underground 2 on xbox 360 will have cutscenes that stutter a lot
  10. Why not just take the plunge for the 1080? It's really solid and is MUCH better than a 980ti and I also think better than one of the titan cards. If you wait for the 1080ti you'll begin to contemplate whether to wait for the NEXT line of GPUs or buy a 1080ti, forcing you into a perpetual state of should I wait. The 1080 has great framerates on 1440p & since you said you wanted to upgrade your monitor to an ultrawide/1440p this will do the job just fine
  11. you probably have assists on try turning it off and see how it works out. Also tune your car towards the drift side. You're probably on balanced or around the grip side of handling. Cars slip around like butter when tuned for maximum drift.
  12. My first PC was a Pentium 4 with integrated graphics. I forget how much RAM and HDD storage it had. Shit ran Underground 1 at like single digits to below 20 FPS. On the lowest settings. It was so bad the game wouldn't let me change my settings. My next PC was a C2D, GeForce 9400GT from Zotac and 4 gigs of RAM. A HUGE upgrade from whatever I had before. Then an iMac with an i5 2500S, 6750M 512MB GPU, 500GB of storage and 4 gigs of ram. And now my laptop. There's always something that prevents me from building a new PC. The latest reason why I can't build a new PC is because of school fees and IGCSE fees. Goddamnit
  13. You won't be able to play gamecube games. Only the Wiis before that stupid no wifi and no gamecube jack revision can do that. There are also no Virtual Console gamecube games on any Nintendo console yet. Basically, you can only play wii discs and wii u discs (Plus some old Virtual Console games)
  14. If you want a wii u throw new 3rd party games out the window. The Wii U is not known for it. However according to me it's one of the better party consoles out there. Nintendo consoles have always been party friendly by including 4 controller ports by default. First party titles are great quality as usual (Because it's Nintendo) In the end, if you LOVE Nintendo and wanna play their games get the Wii U. It's fairly primitive compared to even last gen consoles but it's still a great console imho. Shame that Nintendo got shafted by 3rd parties. But the Wii U boasts some of the BEST if not the best exclusives.
  15. Restart and reconnect to the network. Then go to the browser you use and try and access a site like this one. You should be redirected when trying to access an external webpage. @KuJoe wouldn't a device limit mean the win 10 device won't connect to the router? OP's problem is that he isn't redirected to the hotel's page, right?
