love the format. Maybe invest in a better motherboard? i don't really know but i does have a PCIE x16 slot so should be fine. go for the 390 as far as the cards go

You don't have to disconnect your Discrete graphics card. You should be able to switch between both graphics solutions from within your OS. When there is no monitor connected, the GPU (i believe the 960 has this feature) will go into efficiency mode and the fans would stop spinning.

save the money from the i7 5930K, and instead go for a i7 4790K and a z97 board with a GTX 980. You aren't going to need six cores for gaming and the 4790k should be fine for some video editing.

Ohh well in that case a pretty good build, however there is room for upgrades in the future (maybe a second 970 for some sick SLI scaling with your current CPU)

50$? maybe see if you can throw in a 2nd 8GB Stick? .

other than that, people are gonna recommend you change the 750ti.

other than that, it's a pretty nice build.

My first PC build and I couldn't have done it without the help of LTT forums! It's not the most ideal build on the planet but it's still an amazing improvement from my last desktop.

Alright thanks I'll try and fish these parts for as low as I can get them so I can get some LED fans. Also, I guess overclocking is out of the question with a build this low in price... But I'm ok with that as long as I can play GW2 and LoL with no issues
