My first PC build and I couldn't have done it without the help of LTT forums! It's not the most ideal build on the planet but it's still an amazing improvement from my last desktop.

Things to improve:

Upgrade GPU to GTX 770 (EVGA, MSI, Asus or Galaxy?)

Second stick of G.Skill 8Gb 1600MHz

Corsair Neutron SSD (120Gb)

After market CPU cooler ( closed loop water cooler)

Nice PC, though unbalanced.

 

When you upgrade the GPU, try to go GTX 780/R9 290. There is a decent price gap, but it's well worth it.

But very happy for you :) looks great, I LOVE those 230t cases, they are probably my favourite case, cheap good looking and decent to build in!

Thanks:) I was wondering if there would be a problem if I switch from an nvidia card to a AMD card. I know you would need to change the drivers but would some files that you worked with the nvidia card not work after you've changed

Edit: I also suppose my vs650 would be enough for a GTX 780/R9 290?
