  1. Thanks for your reply! I have been looking at the u3415w and read about the background bleed. I was unaware of the newer model (17w) but it looks like that is a monitor that matches my requirements.
  2. I suggest you try running AdwCleaner and see if that cleans anything else. Also check your DNS servers and try setting them to the google DNS servers (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4)
  3. I have a yubikey and it's nice, but I think it really only makes sense in a corporate environment, if you are just a normal consumer I suggest you stick with Google Authenticator (or any other app that supports the protocol such as Authy).
  4. https://darksky.net/dev/ is also a really nice source for weather data.
  5. Hey there guys, Currently I am looking at buying a new ultrawide monitor for the better work and gaming experience. But I am not really sure what to go for, that's why I ask you guys for help. So I am having trouble choosing between 1080p and 1440p, I have a GTX970 which should be able to run both of those fine, though the 1440p one will require lower quality settings. Then, when choosing the monitor itself, it is also difficult. So many different screens, a lot have issues with background bleeding or just bad QC. So guys, can you give me some directions? What to look out for, which are good and which are bad? Thanks!
  6. I am used to Sublime, have used it for a very long time but just recently VS code had become really good. It's already much better than Atom!
  7. Might want to use *.example.com to catch all non-configures subdomains and put a 302 on there.
  8. Did you make sure to clear your cache? Might have something cached here, looks alright to me.
  9. You probably want to create a cronjob there, and if output == b, execute something.
  10. I'm actually using a single 16:9 and two 4:3 monitors and it works great!
  11. Floats are stupid, try using a double instead.
  12. I missed that! Might actually be a faulty motherboard then. Also important: did you try another wall socket? Might be drawing too much current from the wall and your PC gets low on power. If you have your monitor(s) and desktop in the same socket, try to plug them in separate ones and see if that helps.
  13. I bet that your PSU is almost dead. Had about the same issues as you are talking about and replacing the PSU fixed it.
  14. Could even be a cable hitting your fan, which you only hear when it's spinning quickly.
  15. Not much, it's just not what I am looking for. I need something which I can recover from a simple live-usb. Looks like Acronis does this.
