+ 1 Corsair Airflow series 120 high performance edition for exhaust
Like many of us , Ive been planning my rig upgrade for years since being on the X58 chipset and reluctant to upgrade...until Haswell came along.
Heres a live feed of my rig as it comes along . As of this writing it is almost complete .
The story :
I was running an i7 920 @ 4.2 Ghz and I just want to break that mark with my haswell . I will be delidding my 4670k and replacing the ghastly stock TIM with a arctic freeze 5 or whatever its called - this is supposed to enhance the thermal dissipation greatly.
Ive seen benchers drop temps from 90C to 55C on youtube . Im doing it but this is a scary maneouver as Im going to have to hammer it in 2 using a vice .
Ill post benchies with temp differences for those amongst us who would be interested in seeing what you get when you hammer your processor into pieces , clean it with a credit card and smear thermal paste on it .
Apart from that , an avid gamer and photo editor .
Thoughts ? Suggestions ? Feedback - BOTH positive AND negative equally embraced . I'll tweak accordingly .

2012 - Analog's second gaming rig
This was my second gaming rig that I built myself when I was still in high-school. It is not that impressive by today's standards, but at the time it was a quite a nice rig. It had an i7 3930K (6-core), a GTX 770 Lightning and two 256GB SSDs in RAID 0.
My first PC, had a Phenom 1090T and a HD 6970, which is also pictured in the album. After upgrading the board and the CPU, the 6970 got carried over to the updated rig before it got swapped for the GTX 770.
