Strategy for the Next 24 hours TLDR:
Focus on crunching MilkyWay@Home for the City Run.

Good evening everyone and welcome to the 2025 BOINC Pentathlon hosted by Seti Germany. I am TheLANguy, the leader of the LTT BOINC team.

This is the sixteenth year of the event and the seventh year of Team LTT participating. Out of these last six years we have made it into the top four, four times! This year we have over fifty participants on Team LTT ready to beat our previous best and make it on to the podium! This is absolute dream team includes BOINC legends like danwat1234, miker07, jowi90, and porina. Just these four alone make up 27% of LTT's all time total BOINC credit!

There are a total of 21 teams participating this year, and from the looks of it, our main competitors will once again be [H]ard|OCP, SETI.Germany, Planet 3DNow!, and TeAm AnandTech. These teams have participated in the event for over a decade, but I think we definitely beat them on communication and flexibility. The top of each blog post will have a section for the team plan for the next 24 hours. The plan will be determined from our stats and discussion/suggestions brought up by the team. This blog will also contain our daily stats of team members ranks. (Just like folding events.) For those of you who have not started your engines yet, now is the time! We are going to need all the power we can get. Every little bit counts!

This is my first Pentathlon as team leader and I am so excited to see what the team is capable of. Time to drop some bunkers!
