Day Eleven - The Top Five Had Broke The Billion Point Barrier

GOTSpectrum

Well, as the headline says all of the top five are now over the one billion point mark. I have never seen anything like this so early in an event before and it goes to show just how far the technology has come and how far you are willing to push forward to friendly competitors. I have noticed a lot of zeros on people who have worked through the last week or longer of the event and I would hate for you to miss out on prizes and badges so please do review the minimum requirements to make sure you are hitting them. Why not look into Google Cloud, they even have free credit when you join. You can even set up multiple accounts for free credit if you have access to multiple bank cards. DISCLAIMER: Always ensure you have the permission of the cardholder if you choose to do this, charges will apply if you don't monitor it as you will outspend the original credit. Here's the link to the guide.

So as for how we look as a team as a whole, all those zero days haven't really had much of an effect overall and the team produced 2,200,634,004 points today. So it's ever so slightly lower than yesterday but nothing to be concerned about. So far for week two of the event we have produced 8,988,259,567 points and for the event as a whole, we have managed an incredible 23,137,069,138 points. As for work units, we have managed to fold through 5,803 Work Units over the last 24 hours, which is actually higher than yesterday meaning we did more science! So far throughout the whole event, we have folded through another incredible number, 62,535 Work Units for the event as a whole, and that is only a percentage of what we have done as a team overall.

I'm actually feeling rather unwell today, which as those of you who have been around for a few events know what it's like for me. Going to try to not end up in the hospital during this event but if past history has anything to say about that it is likely to happen at some point. Now, on to the ranks! Mxyzptlk had yet another great day, not record-breaking but nothing to turn ones nose up at, he managed to produce 141,354,358 points today, giving him 564,510,041 for the week and 1,419,828,861 points for the event so far. miker07 is up next taking the third rank with 1,142,618,378 points, for the week he has 407,525,191 and for today he just about passed the 100m mark with 100,329,583 points. Justaphf has climbed a rank to claim the 4th spot today, producing 107,270,719 points, over the week they did 422,496,406 points and for the event as a whole he has produced 1,035,443,435 points. Although Jake has lost a rank he still has passed the one billion point mark today, jakkuh_t has the rank of fifth with 1,028,280,743 points. firedfly is in 6th place with 738,947,744 points in total, 345,527,715 points for the week and 49,584,389 points today. Alex Atkin UK is in 7th place with 705,111,551 points for the event, 308,068,366 points for the week and managed 83,244,385 points today. Gorgon is in 8th place with 650,212,883 points for the event, 277,184,427 points for the week and 73,174,175 points for today. _Rlocke is in 9th place, looking pretty comfortable there if I may say so myself, he takes the rank with 469,864,639 points for the event, 192,307,058 points for the week and 56,145,330 points for today. Finally, we have the honourable gatekeeper, steel takes up the post with 371,043,539 points for the event, 142,860,371 points for the week and 34,365,630 points today.

I'm going to leave it there and have a look into the power outage, have a good one folks and keep up the good work.
