  1. Its the same kind of people who buy cars by only looking at the difference in the monthly payment without considering the downpayment and the interest rate. Honestly, I think just looking at the monthtly payment is a lot more common than you would like to believe
  2. The difference is thats its not only a matter of opinions for their use case. It is used to determine the level of service you will receive. It means it gimps your ability to appropriately receive service if they deem you to be a bad client. The worse is that its for reasons unbeknownst to you even. If you have legitimit reasons to ask for service, you should rightfully be given it not played with
  3. Only into hard drives. You made me giggle so hard.
  4. Honestly, could be said about any large pizza chain. The only pizza chain thats worth it for is Domino's and thats only because you can order a specially made pizza with only the stuff you want on it using their "Pizza configurator"
  5. Anyway, lets be real. We are talking pizza hut here. If you want good pizza, thats not where you go. You go to some smaller local pizzerias. Yeah, they might not have the best price nor delivery time but the added cost and wait time is worth the wait to me at least
  6. Well at the same time, you cant expect the school to just teach you generalities and let you figure everything out because they did not teach you about any specific software or piece of equipment. Schools expect certain time frames in order to complete certain parts of your education process for you to be ready to the next one. Its easier to focus on a specific software to teach the basics for a certain type of tool, whether it be software or equipment, during the timing allowed during your education and let you figure out the process for similar software or equipment from there. Also, whether you like it or not, schools need funding one way or another. This funding may come from nearby large businesses that require the use of the software and are interested in enrolling students that already have the skills required from the get go or from the software vendor himself. I dont necessarily condone these kind of pratices though. As for being a more flexible professional, thats up to any professional to do that by himself. Learning a single different specific software equivalent to one from the adobe suite does not make you more flexible. Learning both or more does though. Its not up to schoo;s to impart all of the knowledge. If you want bachelors degree to last 8 years, go ahead. Rally people that think like you.But at some point, I think they just need to cut somewhere and chossing a software or software line up might be one.
  7. Well that doesnt mean that the student is paying for the software licenses during their education. They could be given student keys that last for certain duration before expiring. Talking about expensive software: Catia. Thing fucking costs 15k per license per year for the base version without the plugins you most likely need to do any real work on it... They also dont offer student versions of the software because people would probably abuse the fuck out of it. For now, I just have to go to uni to have access to it at least.
  8. I still find it kind of not enough. That means that for a phone bought on a 2 year contract, excepting phones bought on launch, you've got support for less than the duration of the contract which is dumb. To me it should be 3 years from launch as a minimum. That would mean a count a maximum time frame of 1 year since the launch of the phone for purchasing the phone and getting security updates during the entirety of your contract which I think is reasonable
  9. The title is a bit sensationalist. It should say ''Cheat developers'' instead of cheaters.
  10. Well the thing is that I am a student. Even though I have a very potent amount of money in the bank, I dont know if I want to splurge for a console and only enjoy it for some time and then sell it. We'll see...
  11. Well, I would still argue that if you are on the market for a new gaming system on the cheap, consoles are still the way to go
  12. Honestly , I wish exclusives were not a thing. I am a great fan of the games that Naughty dog produces such as the Uncharted series but it would not make sense to purchase a PS4 for it. I'd buy one but would just end up selling it after playing the games that interest me which is just dumb in my opinion
  13. They are probably outsourcing all that stuff probably even down to the battery
  14. Well they were a sponsor before they were aquired and as soon as they were aquired, they were dropped as a sponsor
