Just search for 7870 GHz Edition vs GTX 670. It's the same battle. And the 760 wins.

It's the 760Ti that's a rebrand 670. The 670 is slightly faster than the 760.

And all the theoretical benchmarks on the 670 are bullshit. Nobody's 670 runs at 915MHz.

Here is a link to AnandTech comparing the 7870 and the 760. The R9 270x is essentially a 7870. http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/857?vs=854

You're also trying to compare two cards that don't cost the same. In most cases the 7870 is $40-100 cheaper than the 760. I would personally suggest the 7950 if you're going to look for a card around the price of a 760 ($260)

i5 3570k @ 4.2GHz | ASUS STRIX 970 | MSI Z77A-G43 | 16GB Corsair Vengenace 1600Mhz | 128GB/256GB Samsung 840 Pro | 2x 240GB Intel 335 Series | 1TB WD Black | Corsair 650TX | CM Storm Scout 2 Advanced (Ghost White) | Win 10 Pro

Why is nobody answering!? The R9 270X is a rebranded HD 7870 Ghz, the GTX 760 is between the GTX 660 Ti and the GTX 670 in terms of performance making it more powerful than the R9 270X but the 270X is $50 cheaper so you decide but the GTX 760 is definately the more powerful one. Here's a video from DigitalFoundry where they are compared:
