LG 34UM67 question

Does anybody know if this monitor is worth the purchase even though a user(me for example) owns nvidia 980ti card.

and Overall how is this monitor.

i am thinking about buying this instead of AOC U3477PQU because i read alot of bad news about AOC in general. and LG is a long and well known company.

also i read that this LG version has fixed the bleeds etc.

Can anybody confirm any of these things and answer anything about it ? i did read that enabling freesync with nvidia gpu enables monitor to run at 75Hz which is nice. and maybe allow for a 90 Hz overclock hopefully.

i will be buying from Scan.

and i will also buy a vesa stand because i dont like the default monitor stand.it looks fancy but flimsy due to plastic.

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/arctic-z1-single-monitor-arm-with-4-port-usb-hub-suppporting-vesa-mount-13-to-30-monitors-clamp-fitt

PS . linus mentions that frame issue lowoer than 49fps? and higher than 75? whys that? or is this just when using freesync with amd cards?

Personally love wide screens. You should phrase it especially because you own a 980ti.

What about for those of us who use AMD cards, and don't want curved?

While not top of the line, they're really competitive. For me it boils down to pricing between xr341ck and the 34umc67/95

If just 60hz, yeah LG is okay.

Could you explain how the Acer is more for gaming and LG for productivity.

i'd guess because the x34 predator got up to 100hz + gsync

and the LG only 60 hz + freesync
