Desktop HUGE icon frame

Hey everyone.

I couldn't find any info on the net fixing this issue. Basically I'm adding a photo and as you can see all of my desktop icons have this huge frame. Would anyone tell me how to make it smaller? It reeeally looks nasty

Try pressing refresh, see if that fixes it, or changing icon size to see if it changes with it.

Try doing Ctrl+Shift+3 on your desktop, if that doesn't help, than it seams that you used a system tweak tool that change the icon horizontal border, either in Windows 10 or your previous version of Windows.

You can look into restoring those values, or you can create a new account, switch to it Admin, test to see if the problem is gone, and if so, transfer everything to the new account and remove the old one. If you use a Microsoft account, make the new account a local account first, then once you transfer everything and all is good, and you removed the old account, now link it to your Microsoft account.
