New Gaming PC Build for $1500

Zangtetzu

So I have $1500 to mess with, but I need to build a new rig. I want to have a monster of a PC that can ultra most things, but is also super fast aside from gaming. I either want to have a GTX 970 or 980 Ti in it, but also definitely want to have an i7 in it as well that can be overclocked. I want this PC to be future proof. I also want this to be able to fit into a mid size case. Other than that, I really need help deciding which parts to use.

I do not need a monitor, mouse, keyboard, nor headset. I do however, need an OS.

i'm gonna toss this in here as a start for people to toy around with.

probably dropping that 980ti down to a 980 (or 390x if you consider amd an option - i'm not gonna argue for or against)

EVGA NEX isnt the greatest, consider swapping that out.

i have seen everyone recommending it
