Need help ASAP on a 800-1200 CAD$ gaming PC.

champdemain

Hi guys! My friends laptop recently broke and he decided it was time to join the gaming master race. Here are the only things you need to know:

- Budget between 800~1200 CAD

- Can be mATX/ATX, it doesn't matter

- No need of any peripherals

- No need for the OS

- SSD for windows and like 2-3 games (120GB would be plenty)

He doesn't want something huge like an i7 seeing as he's only gonna be gaming on it and doing nothing else. The CPU also doesn't have to be overclockable because he has no knowledge about computers

and other things related to. He's fine with the original heatsink on CPU if it's intel, otherwise if you guys suggest AMD I guess we could add a 212 EVO somewhere in the budget.

Thanks alot guys!!

Prices could be lowered by:

getting a h81 motherboard

getting a i5 4460 instead.

THIS. But seriously if you're just gaming any locked i5 would do you better.

in the 900 USD range, if you're going for AMD you could easily get 240gb of evo series, considering it's only a 20 bucks jump from the 120. A black WD which is much better for you needs.

*Edited, you need more power*
