The right parts

We can't have one person determine which brand is the best. What we have to do is which part is good from your view & explain why. Be clear on what part you are posting.

Don't just say it is good. Explain how it is good. Benchmarks are not required, but they are recommended. I am very strict on benchmarks. Don't use 3DMark for benchmarks. I suggest FPS benchmarks & timing benchmarks. I HIGHLY recommend that you also post a link to the reviews of the part you recommended.

Right:

  • I recommend the Intel Core i7 4790K because even though it has a successor, the i7 6700K, it is still a solid CPU for gaming & content creation. You can see the benchmarks for gaming with the GTX 980 here & Adobe Photoshop & Premiere CC here. Click here to learn more about this part.
  • I recommend this Samsung SSD because there are a lot of positive reviews, has a good capacity for storing your important applications, & is a really good bang for your buck because it's $90 for 250GB. Click here to see it on PCPP.
  • I recommend the BitFenix Pandora MATX because it doesn't take much space, has good airflow, & it looks beautiful. Click here to see it on PCPP.
  • I recommend this GTX 980 because it can do solid 1080P gaming & if you SLI can play games at 1440P & 4K. There are a lot of positive reviews. Click here for review, here for benchmarks, & here for the parts.

Wrong:

  • Intel Core i7 4690K
  • GTX 980 because it is amazing for video editing.
  • AMD FX 9590 because it is awesome/really fast/has 8 cores.
  • I recommend the 1X8 Crucial case.
  • BitFenix

Please don't try to shoot people's comments down & start flamewars. I accept constructive criticism if you disagree.
