Trying to reinstall Windows...

Ophidio

So, I've been having problems with my PC today. And I've everything I've looked up and seen on here has not helped so I'm trying to reinstall windows, but when I do this it gives me on of two messages. Either it gives me "your hard drive is locked please unlock to continue', or it tells me 'the partition you need is missing." What does this mean? Why is my harddrive locked? How do I fix this?

Jot an expert but sounds like partition is corrupted. You need to delete partiotion (deletes everything in there) and reformat whole thing (create new partitions).
