More Windows 10 Questions.

EarthboundHero

So, I have multiple things to ask. First, whenever I try to search for something in Control Panel using the Start Menu, nothing comes up. I have to actually open Control Panel to get any of it. I read this might be related to disabling indexing on my SSD, but I don't want to enable it again, anyway to fix that?

Second, sometimes my taskbar disappears. It happens in different ways. Sometimes it hides behind Chrome and I can't see it at all. Other times it's just a line, and when I scroll over it the line rises. The only way to fix either issue, is to turn off and on auto-hide. This happened in Windows 8, but not nearly as often. And it's been getting really annoying lately. Any ideas? Thanks guys.

Why would you disable indexing?

Because we should trust Toms with just about everything...

Is there a reason not to? It's a forum  just like this. And anyways, it's not just them. Many sites recommend disabling indexing on SSD's.

Disabling a core feature of Windows is always smart...
