Question about Windows 10 RTM upgrading to official release

Unsure about how to go about this, I had reserved my copy of windows 10 while i was still on windows 8

but eventually upgraded to the RTM pre release, does my windows 10 automatically update to the latest

release? or do i have to reinstall 8 to do my reserve copy?
