RAM compatibility

so i see that ram prices are going down now , but the ram i own is no longer available( i have the KHX1600C9D3B1K2/8GX )(http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=70136) and i am looking to buy new ram. will this be compatible with my older one? this ram has the same memory speed as the other one too.

If it's both DDR3, the newer one should clock down to the speed of your original RAM....

i7 6700k - 32GB DDR4-2133 - GTX 980
