Help me pick parts for a solid gaming rig, price limit $1200

Can you guys help me pick just the proper internal components for a gaming pc? price is set at $1200 cannot go any higher than that, only internal components, mainly CPU,GPU & RAM alone is needed, do flush most of the reserve onto GPU if possible, also if it's possible please make a seperate recommendation for $1000 PC as well..

Just to be clear here are some clarifications

Things i don't want

  1. Monitor,
  2. keyboard,
  3. case,
  4. mice,
  5. power supply
  6. bottle neck in any way
  7. HDD or SSD

Things i do want,

  1. 40+ fps gaming on high settings on any games upto now(June 2015 games)  if possible ultra
  2. low cost motherboard
  3. good enough cpu, but not a bare minimum cpu
  4. monitor is locked at 60hz, so keep it in the middle when picking the GPU..

PCpartpicker list is appreciated, makes it rather easy to categorize the components, Thanks & i  hope to hear from you . .

Details separate people.

1920x1200 is not close to 1440p

1920 * 1200 =
2304000
2560 * 1440 =
3686400

it's close to 2560x1080

A 970 would be fine at that resolution.
