Overclocking not working just black screen then must clear bios

pretty much as title saids I have intel Pentium g3258 I increased voltage didn't fix problem. I'm only going to 4.0ghz using stock cooler I even tried 3.8ghz won't work. heres my specs also I've tried just increasing frequency without touching voltage nothing. Like I know heats not the problem.

 

power supply: evga 430w 80+ bronze certified

 

cpu: intel Pentium g3258 3.2ghz

 

gpu: msi r7 260x oc

 

motherboard: Gigabyte LGA 1150 Intel H81 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX DDR3 1600 Motherboards GA-H81M-DS2V

 

memory ram: 1600mhz Samsung cl11 2x4gb so 8gb

Set the voltage to override and see if it works.

how do I do that I can raise it but I don't think theres a settings in bios to do that.

There is. Just look under voltages.
