Unable to Unmount Disk on Mac

Hey guys,

 

Im trying to format a flash drive to osx extended journaled, but for some reason its giving me the erro of unable to dismount disk.

 

Can anyone help me?

Not a solution.

 

OP: Need more information. What flash drive is it? Does it show up on other machines? Can you put and read files from it? Are you admin on the machine?

OP: Try formatting the drive to free space or exFat and then back to journaled. 

 

Can you screenshot the disk utility when you try to do it?
