Problem urgent help needed regarding Wifi

So here is situation. I have a dual band adpter and there is a single band router. When I connect to the single band router, every other wofi connections including mine screw up but the PCs wired connected still work. What is the cause and fix?

The dual band adapter shouldn't cause an issue with a single band router, it could just be too much stress on the router's wireless for it to be able to handle as many clients as you're trying to make it handle.

Well wifi connections cant connect to the network anymore until I turn off/disconnect my dualband adapter.

update the firmware on that router....

then reset it to defaults

then try connecting once its on defaults

and see if the other devices can connect to

if they can...put the security back on for the wireless..and check again
