Asus GTX 970 Strix OC

Should I overclock my GTX 970 or not as a cpu i hve an i5 4690K clocked at 4.5 GHz.

The motherboard is Asus Maximus VII Hero.

Just be careful and take it step by step.

Not really the best card to overclock, you'll get limited by TDP very fast.

^ This... My Strix bounced off of 120% all the time...

 

May I ask, can you get GPU-Z and tell us the memory it has? Most likely has Hynix which rarely overclocks well. :(
