$1000 build

Will this do a descent job for 1440p gaming? (I currently have a 1080p but i'm getting a 1440p soon).

No, I decided to go with the 290 because the i7 offers much better performance and just sacrifices just a little bit of performance on the GPU.

Hello again Cheese Tartz!

 

It's great to see you took my advice and went with the 290!

You'll need 750W though considering how much of a power hungry beast the 290 is.

 

In my country be quiet! isn't available so I''ll just play go with your decision and keep it on the list. 

 

Everything else is good, are you sure everything is color matched correctly? I know the Tri-X cooler is yellow/orange so you may want to rethink some things.

Think you  got it all wrong... an i7 doesn't really effect your performance for gaming.... just saying mate.
