Also a little bit of news regarding motion sickness, according to gabe himself zero percent of people get motion sick that have tried.

Can't see the game / video, as I'm on a filtered connection right now, but I know people who get motion sick simply from playing Portal on their computers. Doubt VR will help that too much. :\

motion sickness is to do with image persistence and refresh rate from my understanding. The refresh rate must be high enough that it reduces the effect of motion sickness. I guess if the tracking is almost 1:1 too that would greatly reduce the effect in my mind. Staring at a screen that is moving is completely different to being immersed in a virtual world where you senses match up to what you're actually doing. 

 

@Jade I thought of something to counter that point, the game is portal so you go through portal(captain obvious over here). But anyway back to my point, if you were flying through portals your senses wouldn't match up to what you're actually doing. This demo is very stationary and lacks a ton of movement. I wonder if you started with a different demo where your eye's didn't match up to what you're doing in game whether you would get motion sick or not.
