achieva shimian max resolution is 1920x1200?

I plugged it into my computer and it showed up as 1920x1200. I'm using a dual link dvi to hdmi. and stock intel graphics for now. please help

HDMI to DVI is capped at the limit of single-link DVI (1920x1200 60Hz), you'll need a dual-link DVI to dual-link DVI cable.

Will a dual link dvi to displayport work at 2560x1440

No, that will also be limited to single-link DVI unless you get a DisplayPort to DVI converter ("active adapter").

Wel with my ultra wide I get 2560x1080 70hz over hdmi

The one guy said that HDMI is limited to 1920x1080. Just wanted to say that that is not true.
