blacking out part of a case window

Tasuma

I recently got a Inwin gt1 case. I love the thing. Only issue is how big the freaking window is. It shows the PSU and all the cables. And the bottom half of the case doesn't have routing holes for the PSU. Just a big open space. So I would like to black out the bottom half of the case so I don't have to see that bottom part with hard drives and PSU. I was thinking vinyl but I don't think that would work well. Or just spray painting the portion I don't like black. Any suggestions?

Spray painting might look messy

I think vinyl wrap would be better.

Would their be any issues with heat making it bubble or something?

I don't think that would be much of a problem. It would depend on the wrap but you would need some concentrated heat to warp.

I think matte black would look decent.

I have a white case. D: Maybe just do a white wrap on the outside of the window.

Plasti-dip would be another option...

Why not make a PSU shroud and cover up the bottom where the PSU and cables are without covering up any window space.

Here's a guide on it:

I like that. Issue is my HDD cage is pretty high and I'm using a bottom intake fan. :/ So it would pretty much cut off any airflow there. But I do like that idea,I could also just get a single sheet and place it in the case instead of bending it. :) And just use some Velcro or something to hold it in. :)

Edit: Or simply Velcro a sheet of metal to the back of my windowed panel! Like behind the metal of the panel itself. MWAHAHA! I love you guys.
