okay nvidia shield owners, when you play steam games on it, do you get achievements and play time when streaming to the shield.

also do you get to chat on steam or voice chat ?

Wish I could answer this. I have a SHIELD, but I've hardly ever used Steam game streaming due to my router making it so I have to be in the same room as my PC, so what's the point.

awwww : \ i was wondering about it cause i wanted to lay down at night and play RPG or single player games on steam in bed. (not gonna play FPS on that for sure)

I find the game streaming feature of little use on this tablet. It's gimmicky at best. But yes, since the game is really only being mirrored to the tablet, your achievements should flow through. And yes you can voice chat using the microphone on the Shield controller if you have it. I don't know if you can use the Shield's built-in microphone for in-game chat when the controller is absent. 

 

Overall, the tablet's build quality, battery life, etc. didn't impress me.
