Best Case for $150AUD or less

nfsm654

I'm looking for the best case for my needs for about $150 (Australian) or less. There are so many cases out on the market I just can't be bothered going through them all to look for the best.

So far I have my eyes set on the Phanteks Enthoo Pro and the Fractal Design Define R5.

Musts:

  • Cost less than $150AU (not including shipping)
  • Be available in Australia (interstate shipping is more than enough for me, let alone international)
  • Support mATX and standard ATX
  • Support 4 or more 3.5" drives
  • Come in black
  • Side window
  • Have great fan support
  • Good cable management
  • At least 1x 5.25" bay
  • Good warranty and customer service

Dealmakers (aka optional):

  • Loads of internal space
  • Dust filters
  • Watercooling support (for the future)
  • Great pre-installed fans
  • Pre-installed blue LEDs (or multicolour supporting blue)

Dealbreakers (aka must nots)

  • Flimsy construction
  • Very few included fans (less than 3 or so)
  • Anything that contradicts the musts

Thanks to everyone with suggestions or even their own personal review on a case that meets the criteria.

I'm just a guy who likes to do stuff, and things, I guess...

Enthoo Pro comes to mind. $119 at PCCG. No blue lights though. You could go for the Luxe, which has the lighting, but its $179.

Other than the lights, are there any other different features between the Luxe and Pro which justifies the extra $60? I might be wrong, but the internals look practically the same to me, minus the lighting, but to me that justifies maybe $20-30

I'd say Enthoo Pro.

Thanks for the recommendation :)

No the extra price isn't justified, stick with the Pro version.
