My First Ever PC Build. Suggestions are recommended!

Hello people!

I'm planning to build my own PC and I've listed them all. If you might see something:

This build is for all around use, but i do a lot of video editing, and some games and documents.

Specs:

Processor: Intel i5-4590

Motherboard: MSI H87-G443 LGA 1150

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3-1600

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB

SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB

Graphics Card: Asus/Nvidia GTX 750Ti 2GB 128-bit GDDR5

Case: Corsair Obsidian 350D

Optical Drive: Asus 24x DVD Burner Black SATA Model DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS

Feel free to suggest any improvements.

PS: Help me w. the PSU. According to PCPartPicker, my specs will have a minimum 248W

So is the Seasonic SSP-450RT 450W too overkill? or just right?

Looks good to me. If you plan on doing any serious gaming I'd recommend a better GPU but other than they for video editing and other general use it looks good.

(I woudlent expect this build to be good enough for serious video editing but for making YouTube videos it's fine).

I wont really do serious video editing or gaming. Thanks for your thoughts!

If your planning on doing any overclocking (which i would personally recommend), upgrade to an overclockable chip, such as the 4690k. Even if you dont plan on it now, its good to leave that road open.

Also, that I would get a more powerful GPU

Depending on your budget also, but for your needs as you said light video editing and gaming it should be okay Try get a 960 if you can might help a little, but as a starting point I think you're pretty much set.

That PSU should also be enough especially if you plan to go 960, but like I said as a starting point it looks good to me.

id probably overclock, but not now. About the GPU, what do you suggest?

Right now, im thinking if i will replace my Asus 750ti with an EVGA 760 superclocked
