GOOD Game Recording software?

Im looking for a GOOD game recording software that can record 1080p and 60fps. For call of duty gameplay recording mostly. Price is under 30.

DXTory is probably the best game recording software. It's 20 USD IIRC for the full version.

DXtory is great, Fraps is a second best, though I find Fraps does more FPS damage then DXTory and DXtory has more options as regards to Audio/Video recording. For example you can set multiple Audio channels to record in DXtory, whereas in Fraps you only get a basic record all or nothing option.

They cost about the same too I think (20ish dollars)

If you have a Nvidia graphics card GTX650 or higher shadow play is nice, otherwise I would recommend Fraps.

Have you tried NVIDIA's shadow play or AMD's game DVR?  Both of those are free to use and have a minimal impact on performance.

Dxtory

You need a very fast HDD or an SSD to record 1080p 60fps.

I suggest getting the lagarith lossless codec.

Dxtory is great for recording and can be used to stream but i hate paying so i use open broadcast software (obs). OBS lets you record or stream, so win win. Fraps is old, let it rest.

I'd recommend you use OBS, it's free and has a plethora of settings to play with. Here's a link: https://obsproject.com/

You are able to change the amount of frames you want to capture at.
