Ram don't match

Right now my friend is using 8gb Averix 2133 ram. I was looking for him a 4gb 2133 to get him up to 12gb but Averix don't seem to make them in single 4gbs so I was wanting to know if any1 know where I can get a single 4gb 2133 ddr3 ram. it don't have to be Averix my price range is around $40-$50.

ram works best in dual channel....is there a reason why he needs another 4gb of ram?
