Ever since i got this patch about 20 minutes into the game it lags and starts showing the bar saying attempting to reconnect. Also my ping goes all the way to 500.

What do i do to fix this ?

Reinstall, that's about your only option. Repair won't do much, I'd bet.

Are you running a mac? there is a problem with the current build and macs that causes random unresponsiveness :/

Just played a match and yes even i am losing connection and there are some lag spikes, it was fine yesterday :(
