How do I set a 60htz cap on a 120htz monitor?

I simply want to test the difference between 60fps and above for my own eyes on my samsung S27A950 but have no idea how, can someone please tell me?

If you are on windows, right click on your desktop, go to screen  resolution and click the text that says "Advanced settings", then go to the monitor tab and there should be a dropdown menu with the refresh rates.

Either the above method, or EVGA Precision X has a lock at *FPS setting.

the windows way is nice, and the difference is huge, i have done it on my 144Hz monitors, just move the mouse in a fast circle and you will notice a MASSIVE difference in how smooth it is

I've tried that but it only allows 120htz or 100htz, however I need to cap my FPS to 60.

if you have nvidia you might be able to do it there, im sure amd has something similar

Its the same thing in the Nvidia control panel, I cant go lower then 100htz.
