Any workaround Crucial M.O.D software Not working with x79 Mobos?

Crucials M.O.D software doesn't like to work with most x79 mobos. Bought new RAM this year off NewEgg, and get the usual Motherboard not compatible. Wondering if anybody ever found any kind of workaround. Bright LEDs are getting annoying.
