Before I learn Java

piggykid1

Before I learn Java (for app developing and Minecraft modding) is there any language I should learn before hand to make learning Java faster and easier?

Thanks!

C/ C++ perhaps.

Java is a good choice for a first programming language. I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't. As long as you pick up OOP (object oriented programming) as you learn java, other languages will come pretty quickly.

Not really, most languages have (sort of) similar syntax though so it should be easier once you learn Java to learn another.

Just understand how logic works.

Also remember that Java and Javascript are two completely different things.
