Sli Help w/ gaming

I have had my Lenovo y510p for a while. I got the model with dual gt755m's because it was on sale. It works great with sli ready games such as call of duty, but not as good with other games. Is there a way to increase the performance of those games?

Turn down the graphics settings. Other than that, not much you can do if they don't support SLI

Can't you turn off or disable one card? so it won't be sutter?

You can disable SLI, yes.

Ok I think I am crazy because I could have sworn I had games that didn't support sli, but now it seems all of my games do...
