graphics card What Graphics Can I use

i'm trying to upgrade my amd cpu which is amd fx 6300 with the best graphics card i can get for this cpu, can i use any graphics card or can i only use radeon and rx cards

As for AMD CPU compatibility to GPUs, you can go NVidia or AMD. I'm personally using a 1050ti with an FX 8350. 

 

But, if it'll actually work depends on what power supply you have, most pre-built systems have very little headroom and only have enough power for a PCIe lane powered card (750ti, 1050/1050ti etc), or you could be lucky and have enough headroom. 

 

It also depends what CPU you have if it'll work well.

I noticed you said you have an AMD CPU, if you have an old FX series AMD CPU I'd recommend against a 1080 / 1080ti / 2070 / 2080 / 2080ti or the high end AMD cards as the CPU will bottleneck the GPU and you won't see nearly as high of framerates as you'd expect.
