[Help] what is good?

I am wondering if the on board audio chip (Realtek ALC892) of a Gigabyte Z390M Gaming is good enough to take full advantage of the 50 ohm Sennheiser HD 579 headphones?
Would the on board audio from a ASUS STRIX 1080 (passed through DisplayPort) be also good?

Does it matter if I plug them into the back (Mobo) or to the case? (Fractal Meshify C Mini)

 

thanks a lot, I realize these are quite elementary questions but I couldn't find accessible answers elsewhere
