Ethernet port question

Yo,

I Have an Ethernet port in my room that goes to the main router room. Would it be better to move the internet in my room then do router > Ethernet > PC or should I leave the router in the other room and just use the Ethernet port in my room to my pc?

As long as it is just cables and extensions, there's no need to move the router closer with a wired connection

My server is connected to my router with an Ethernet cable that is something like 120ft long.
