Galaxy note 9 vpn

Idk why but every time i connect to pia vpn on my galaxy note 9 it completely turns of my internet. It doesn't matter if the kill switch is activated or not and I only have the problem with pia. I tried updating my phone and the app and reinstalling pia, ive also restarted my phone several times. Has any one else had this problem and found a fix?

Try turning off PIA Mace in settings?

Nick11682 I cant find anything called mace in my phones settings or in pia app setting.

Ok so i went and got the pia app off the pia website cause the google play store version of the app doesnt give the option to turn off mace. After i got that app and turned mace off it worked for about 4 hours then it just stoped working again. I tried turning off my vpn and turning it back on again but it still done nothing
